Taxing Times

We naturally enjoy being creative. Not surprising, therefore, that we sometimes put off those jobs that we regard as boring and uncreative.

Today, I want to offer you a few words of encouragement about that tax form. You know, the one you’ve been meaning to get round to for some time, but it hasn’t quite happened yet!

You are not alone – there are so many people out there who struggle with this! And the nearer the deadline looms, the worse it gets. We either try to bury our heads in the sand, or long for someone to take the burden away for us, to tell us that it’s ok.

By trying to put off the inevitable, you are expending mental and emotional energy needlessly – even without realising it. But how will you feel once you knock this task into touch?!

Once you start to get the picture, you can imagine how much more clearly you’ll see the way forward when you have this job out of the way.

Whether or not you hear any applause for a job well done, you know that this is sound advice.

You realise that it’s got to be done, so when would now be a good time to tackle that tax form?
